Hi everybody from hanmer
My race was 2.2km with lots of hills. It was freezing!!!!
Half way through the first lap I lost my shoe so I couldn't run as fast.
Over all I came 26th out of 46 and 9th out of Canterbury and finished up with one shoe. I don't think I did very well but everybody else does.
I wanted to get into the top 10 but next time I'll try harder (and tie up my shoes tighter)
Thanks for all the support you gave me!!! thanks Mel for the new socks you gave me (they're a bit dirty now)

Sofia, you should be very proud of yourself for continuing with only one shoe and running over all that gravel and stony ground, and finishing so strongly. We're all very proud of you for just getting there, but also for the determination you showed. Your Family.
