On Waitangi weekend I played in the NZ Masters in Wanganui in 40-45 yr age group, with the team made up mostly of the 88/89 University of Canterbury team. We called ourselves the Bishops after our old coach Bob Bishop, and we played 7 games, lost none, and won gold.
I actually got injured in the first one by colliding with my own team mate and was out for the rest of the tournament with 2 cracked ribs.
But we had fun...
